Polishing

Since the last post, I've been working on polishing the head, with a side jaunt last night to polish one of the engine lift brackets.  Getting the head to a smooth mirror polish is not for the faint of heart or for those lacking patience.  The mold joints are all quite rough, along with quite a few mold defects.  Mitsubishi was rushing to get these done as their popularity at the time was through the roof.  This meant that not every aspect of items not seen were cleaned up during the production process.  I've used a dremel tool with a wand extension for most of the work, using cutting discs, cutting burrs, and sanding drums so far for most of the work.  So here's pics of the progress on it over the past week or so as well as the bracket along side a bracket I haven't touched for comparison:
